### Why SFTs & DAO

While a simple poll could be used for voting, it is vulnerable to influence from big projects that may encourage their followers to vote for their preferred option.&#x20;

This approach might not reflect the actual preferences of the author's followers, who could be more interested in a recent project with fewer followers that emerged two weeks ago.

SFTs play a significant role here by empowering genuine followers to cast their vote, thereby preventing the domination of the voting process by bots or the influence of prominent projects.
